Despacho ceremony is a beautiful and ancient ceremony that is still performed throughout Peru.

In a Despacho ceremony, the shaman constructs an offering of gratitude to Pachamama (Mother Earth) and the Apus (Mountain Spirits). Those in attendance may place prayers of gratitude or request into the offering. These prayers are then "dispatched" to the Guides and Spirits when the offering is burned or buried by the shaman.

As performed at the STONEHOUSE BOOKSTORE & GROWTH CENTER in Kirkland, the ceremony begins with clearing and grounding of your energy field, followed by a traditional Ayni Despacho.
