Recognize the energy of scarcity. Consider how many times in a day or week you reinforce scarcity in your life by thinking or saying aloud that you don’t have time, money, love, friends, knowledge, or something else in your life. It’s time to replace that scarcity thinking with thoughts of abundance and availability.
These abundance tip columns have discussed money and abundance in terms of an energy system of which we are all a part. For example, money is the largest energetic relationship we have in our lives. Everything that we do and everything that we need has some relationship to or requires money. We work to make money; we need money to get the things we need to live everything requires an exchange of money.
If we examine our relationship with money in terms of an energy exchange, just as energy is gained by eating or energy is expended by exercising, then we can begin to understand better the experience of money in terms of energy in our lives. That is, as we spend money, we exert energy or exert some of our purchasing power. As we make money, we gain energy or make energy/money available for later purchasing power.
Now just as our physical energy is part of our overall energy system, then money and our relationship to money is also part of our overall energy system. Therefore how our energy goes, so goes our relationship with money. As we concentrate and understand abundance in our lives, we can align with abundance in our life. When we focus on abundance, then more abundance comes into our lives.
By contrast, if you focus on scarcity and engage in scarcity thinking, then you bring more scarcity into your life. Again as your energy aligns with scarcity, scarcity predominates your life. Have you ever thought, “I don’t have time to …” only to realize that indeed you don’t have time? What if you thought, “I have time to …”? then you will find the time you need.
Consider how many times in a day or week you reinforce scarcity in your life by thinking or saying aloud that you don’t have time, money, love, friends, knowledge, or something else in your life. Then consider how scarcity thinking shows up in your energy system? Are you tired? Do you feel physically ill in some way, perhaps a headache, migraine, stomachache, or digestion problems? Not only do these physical manifestations abound, but realize also that once you’ve entered the energy of scarcity, what you experience is more scarcity.
Over this Ripe Berries Moon, allow yourself to take these moments and thoughts of scarcity and turn them around; instead, replace scarcity thinking with thoughts of abundance and availability. At first replacing these thoughts may seems forced or contrived, but stick with it. You will find it become more natural over time and eventually it will become a habit, just as scarcity thinking has become a habit in your life.
