Abundance Tip Actions for Begin Abundant: Giving

The very act of giving creates abundance thinking, which in turn creates abundance. Therefore giving is the best, easiest, and incredibly power method of breaking scarcity thinking in your life. What don’t you need? Start giving it away now.

As you work to direct your focus on what you want, realize that to receive abundance, you need to be willing to give. Giving is the link between Reciprocity and Abundance.

Giving is the best, easiest, and incredibly power method of breaking scarcity thinking in your life. If you’re giving something to others, you know that you must have it to give – or else you wouldn’t be giving. So the very act of giving creates abundance thinking, which creates abundance.

Wow! How simple is that? What do you have to give? Time, Money, Goods, Services, Acknowledgement, Praise, Prayers, Appreciation? Even a little will go a long way toward increasing your perception towards abundance.

What don’t you need? Over the next month, take a room a week in your house and find something to give away to a friend, Goodwill, Salvation Army, or a shelter. By giving things away like this, you create a “vacuum” for new things to come into your life, such as abundance.

How wonderful it is then that fall is also a time of giving. Throughout the Fall, there are a series of events that promote giving in various ways… First, at Halloween, we give treats to children that come to our homes. All Soul’s Day (Nov 2) is a time of giving thanks and appreciation to our ancestors. In November, Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful for the Fall Harvest. Then December brings Hanukah and Christmas – times of giving to others.

But before you start giving things away, let’s be clear about what giving means. Giving isn’t running up credit card balances and worrying about someone liking what you’ve gotten for their holiday gift. That’s not abundance thinking. Instead, giving is about offering things you can comfortably afford without being attached to what the others might think about it when they get it. It’s also about giving away things you no longer need to those less fortunate than yourself.

Enjoy your giving this season. Do it with joy and appreciation for what you have. Lastly, practice giving with non-attachment to the outcome.
